In 1982, Telluride Helitrax became a reality when four local ski partners combined their talents and enthusiasm for ski mountaineering with a generous dose of can-do optimism. The early years were defined by powder days, friends, and a fair amount of fun. Today, Telluride Helitrax is a family-owned guide service providing tailored, personalized guest experiences. We still believe strongly in powder days, fun, and work hard to deliver unforgettable memories. Telluride Helitrax utilizes small, intimate groups of four guests to one guide. We operate in spectacular terrain that includes over 200 square miles of high alpine basins, cirques, and summits. We fly the trusted Eurocopter AS350 B3e because it is built for high-altitude mountain flying and outperforms in all weather conditions. Our operation and staff have earned a reputation as one of the safest and most experienced helicopter skiing and snowboarding services in North America.
