Quiet, serene, and uncrowded…The Lake City Ice Park is a great alternative to ‘Colorado’s other famous ice park’ just down the road, and offers a unique and un-intimidating atmosphere for the aspiring ice climber. Here you can learn the basics of ice climbing, all within less then a hundred steps from your car. The ice tends to be very pristine and the atmosphere incredibly laid back, and it is highly likely that ice climbing here we will see more dogs roving around the area than other ice climbers !
