Fresh Tracks Hiking

Our Story

Who we are

Hello!   My name is Tyler and the things I love doing the most in this world are embarking on exciting adventures, meeting people, and photography. I’ve combined all three things into Fresh Tracks Hiking, and I’d love to join you on an adventure. I was born and raised in Colorado and love everything the state has to offer. The Rocky Mountains is one of my favorite places on the earth, and I feel honored to get to explore and photograph it. I always have my camera equipment with me when I’m hiking, and people will typically ask me to take their photo—which I love to do. This happened so many times that I decided to combine my love of hiking with my love for photography and my love of meeting new people, and Fresh Tracks Hiking was born!

Bagging a 13,000- or 14,000-foot peak is a dream that many people come to Colorado to fulfill. Nothing beats the feeling of self-accomplishment by conquering one of these peaks, and the 360-degree views of everything beneath you are unlike anything you’ve ever seen! Your day will start very early (usually several hours before the sun is up), and you’ll get to enjoy seeing the wilderness come alive as the day progresses. We’ll have plenty of time to be on top of the world as well enjoy our descent with views of mountain streams and forests that were in the dark on the way up.

Half-Day Hikes in the Colorado Rockies

Denver is known for its exceptional scenery and for being a gateway to the Rocky Mountains. There are astonishing day hikes within a short driving distance from Denver that will suit the needs of anybody coming here looking for a hike. We’ll start our hike before sunrise. At this time of day, nobody else is on the trail, wildlife is most active, and the light is perfect for stunning sunrise photography. We’ll find an awesome lookout point to watch the sun rise, then we’ll continue on our hike and exploring nature and getting fantastic photos during our time together. In most instances, we will finish hiking when most other people are just starting theirs
