This course is very intensive and is almost entirely hands on with very little lecture time. This training is not so difficult that families and children can’t attend though. These are skills that will impress your friends the next time out camping or hunting and these are skills that tend to stick with you for a lifetime. The skills are taught in a laid-back survival camp environment.
This 3 Day course is designed to introduce students to the use of stone tools and the creation of them in a survival or primitive living environment with a focus on hunting and procuring food. Stones are one of the most highly overlooked survival resources, but can provide many advantages when a knife, ax, hatchet, or other ranged hunting tool are not available. We will discuss, demonstrate and allow students to use stone tools like microliths, arrowheads, hand blades, scrappers and drills to produce any number of survival resources.

This three-day Modern Survival class is designed for the hiker, hunter, backpacker, or other adventure seeker who feel they may have a sufficient amount of survival gear and equipment and want to improve their survival skills. The course will teach students to prioritize their survival gear and utilize it effectively and efficiently in survival situations.

The Wild Plants course is our course on learning the uses of wild plants. We will teach you how to harvest plants for edible, medicinal, and utilitarian uses and then what you need to do to prepare them for their appropriate use. This course is designed to narrow the list of tens of thousands of plants into a handful that are most useful in a survival situation. The plants learned will be highly variable based on location and time of year.
