The tasting room is open daily (hours vary seasonally), and the gracious staff will guide you through a flight tasting of award-winning wines. You’ll enjoy your VIP wine and cheese tasting on the winery grounds or on the enclosed tasting room terrace. The experience includes a sampling of all wines, including reserves, selected artisan cheeses, crackers, fruits and chocolates that best accompany each wine. A tasting can be added to most jeep only or jeep package booking, to be done after any jeep tour, or to be enjoyed separately on another day for $40 per person. Minors under 21 are welcome to join in the “tasting” with juice for $20 per person.

The Red Canyon tour meanders through towering red spires and monoliths sculpted by the erosion of the Fountain Formation, a layer of sedimentary rock (made famous by the Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs), that runs along the Rocky Mountain front range up into Wyoming. On the Red Canyon tour, you’ll visit the Garden Park Fossil Area of Canon City, famous for the excavation of many complete dinosaur skeletons, such as the Stegosaurus on display at the Smithsonian and a Brontosaurus on display at Wagner Free Institute of Philadelphia. Garden Park is also the site of the late 1870’s “Bone Wars.”
