Lauren Brooke Founder and Lead Guide at Colorado Hiking Company Ltd. Lauren was raised in Denver, Colorado, and has been hiking since she was 3 years old. She graduated from the University of Colorado at Denver with degrees in psychology, sociology, communications, mediation, and public relations. After graduation, she spent a year solo backpacking around the world experiencing culture and deeply seeking meaning and purpose. She completed her yoga teacher training in Rishikesh India and is a certified Kundalini Yoga Instructor through the Yoga Teacher Training Alliance (YTTA). She completed a Vipassana Meditation Course in Sri Lanka and pursued her passion of international scuba diving. She has international hiking experience in over 6 countries. In her free time, Lauren enjoys aerial dance and volunteering with a local hospice. She facilitates grief and bereavement workshops and is a member of the 11th-hour team. Lauren has been professionally guiding hikes in Colorado for over two years and cannot wait to show you all of the beauty and connection that Colorado Hiking Co has to offer.
