Wilder is a marketplace for adventure! We want to inspire others to find their inner wilderness by allowing you to find guides and adventures based on your preferences and the adventure you desire.
Founder Story
My name is Roy Ben-Tzvi, I’m the founder and CEO of Wilder. At a very young age, moving from place to place, I was introduced to travel and adventure. I fell in love with both as early as I can remember.
When I was a kid, my dad use to take me on jeep tours through rugged terrain, and while all the other kids cried in fear, I would be having the time of my life. As an adult traveling through South America, a turning point in my life came when I had the worst possible experience one can have with a guide company- and as a result, I lost someone who was extremely close to me.
Now, all these years later, as a recent transplant in Colorado, I saw the need for a marketplace that would allow adventure seekers (just like myself) to understand the importance of having a good guide alongside any adventure – and the ability to book the best guides out there. My determination to create this, based on my own story, brings us to where we are today – and I hope you can join me on this Wilder journey!
